| March Events March 13 Local Race Car Show 9 am - 5 pm Meet local race car drivers and check out their cars! Cars will be on display in the parking lot. March 16 - 21 Daffodil Days The daffodil is the first flower of spring, a symbol of hope, renewal, and for the American Cancer Society, the promise that one day the world will be free of cancer. To raise awareness and funds to help the American Cancer Society, purchase your daffodils in center court! March 20 Easter Bunny Arrives! Come see the Easter Bunny's Egg-citing Arrival! 11:00 am : Peter Rabbit Tales Puppet Show ~ see the stories of Peter Rabbit, Mrs. Tittlemouse and Benjamin Bunny brought to life during this unforgettable theater experience! Greet the Easter Bunny when he arrives at the end of the show! 12:00 pm : Creature Feature Show ~ Check out the show in center court and share a hands-on experience with some real live animals! 1:00 pm : The Showbiz Kids of the Strawberry Playhouse will perform music from "Oklahoma"! 2:00 pm : Tobacco-Free Olympics sponsored by Teens Kickin' Nicotine ~ Participate in fun games and activities for the chance to win the gold! Plus, free Easter candy bags! High-quality digital photo packages will be available. Receive a FREE Easter coloring book and crayons with every photo package purchase! March 20 Boy Scouts Pine Wood Derby View the imaginative derby car creations designed by Schuylkill County Scouts and watch them compete to win trophies and medals! The Derby will run for several hours until the last car makes its way down the indoor tracks. Registration begins at 9 am. For more information, contact Ron Mallicone at (484) 955-7904. March 20 American Red Cross Blood Drive 10 am - 2 pm Show your support of the American Red Cross and donate blood during their drive on Saturday, March 20 in the space next to Radio Shack. This safe and easy process takes approximately 45 minutes. Potential donors must be age 16 or older, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health to participate. Blood donors of all types are encouraged to donate and help maintain critical blood bank supplies. To make a donation appointment, call 800-GIVE-LIFE. March 22 - April 3 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt Children 12 and under can join in the hunt to find Easter Eggs hidden throughout the Mall! Entry forms will be availalbe in the Mall Office or at the Easter Bunny House beginning March 22. Find all of the eggs on the list and you'll be entered to win an Easter basket stuffed with goodies! Forms must be completed in entirety in order to be eligible to win. Winners will be notified by April 9, 2010. March 31 Pet Photos with the Bunny 5 - 8 pm Have your furry friend's photo taken with the Easter Bunny! No exotic animals, please. All animals must be on a leash or in a carrier while in the Mall. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. |

Click here for more information. 50 cc KYMCO Scooter Winner Chosen! Congratulations to Brian Keller of Ashland! Mr. Keller was the winner of the 50 cc KYMCO Scooter donated by Fannick's Motorsports and More. He became the winner during the Fairlane Village Mall's Beat the Winter Blues Celebration on January 24, 2009, by pulling the winning number, "21", when his name was randomly chosen to participate in the drawing. Thanks to all contest finalists who donated a child-sized coat for the Coats for Kids program. A total of 121 coats were donated to the Salvation Army for local distribution! |
